What Scrapyy is

Scrapyy tracks product prices published on Rwandan online stores and lets you compare them in one place. You do not need an account to use it, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or payment details.

What we collect

• Search queries. The searches you run are logged so we can fix bad results and improve ranking. They are not linked to your identity.
• Anonymous usage events. Page and product views may be recorded against a random session identifier that lives only in your browser's session storage and disappears when you close the tab. If your browser blocks storage, we simply record nothing.
• Server logs. Like almost every website, our servers keep short-lived technical logs (including IP addresses) for security, rate limiting, and debugging.

What we don't do

• We do not sell or rent any data.
• We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
• We do not build profiles of individual visitors.

Merchant sites

Prices, product details, and images are observed on merchant websites. When you click through to an offer you leave Scrapyy and the merchant's own privacy policy applies to anything you do there.

Retention

Operational logs and usage events are kept only as long as they are useful for running and improving the service, after which they are deleted on a scheduled cleanup.
