Across the 2,368 products we currently track in more than one Rwandan store, the gap between the cheapest and the most expensive shop averages 21%. Picking the cheaper store every time is the whole point of this site — and it is not a small amount of money.

How this is measured

• Only real overlap counts. A product is included only when at least two stores we track currently list it, both priced in RWF.
• Latest observed prices. We use each store's most recent price for that product from our own crawl — nothing is estimated or carried over from a stale reading.
• One offer per store. Marketplace duplicates are collapsed to each store's cheapest listing, so a store is never double-counted.
• Refreshed continuously. The figure recomputes every time our price index rebuilds, a few times an hour.
