Agaseke Traditional Rwandan Basket Shape Bees Wax Candles

Folklore has it that Rwanda is a country that has for centuries been flowing with milk and Honey. It is also known for the traditional Agaseke Peace Basket, a cultural symbol of peace and unity. This basket apparently inspires our creativity with beeswax, the ingredient from which Agaseke Candles is made from. It is a natural product derived from the belly glands of the working bee. The bee uses nectar or honey to produce wax, in which honey is stored. It is a process of mastication and incorporation of pollen and propolis that gives the wax its beautiful range of pale  yellow to orange color.
